 - Jellocats? -

Yes, Jellocats are little cats made of pure, wobbly jello. Though they usually fit right in your hands, some can grow as big as a human. Their size depends on how much jello they consume, so their bodies can expand over time—perfect for Jellocats who want to lounge in sunlit fields or snuggle up with their favorite humans.

- What are they exactly made of? -

The core of every Jellocat is its special jello, which always has a taste or even a unique magical quality. A Jellocat’s flavor comes from the jello egg they hatched from, which displays fruits, sweets, or even mystical symbols hinting at their flavor or ability. The egg’s unique qualities give the Jellocat its magical powers or flavor characteristics, and as it grows, the taste or magic deepens.

- The body -

Jellocats are eyeless, relying on heightened whiskers and ears to sense their surroundings, detect jello sources, and communicate emotions. Their bodies, entirely jello-based, are durable and self-regenerating as long as they consume enough jello and sugar water. They may walk on two or four legs, with this trait fluid throughout their lives, allowing them to adapt based on environment or preference.

- Ageing -

Jellocats are practically immortal unless physically destroyed. Jellocats have distinct age stages, each shaping their abilities, behaviour, and role in Jello society. From playful Younglings to wise Elders and legendary Mythic Jellocats, these stages highlight their growth and magic. A rare few transcend into Jello Spirits, guiding others as eternal beings. Each age stage reflects unique traits and increasing powers, with the oldest Jellocats holding deep knowledge and mystical abilities essential to life on Jello Island. They are considered ageless beings, with age tracked by developmental stages, each with unique characteristics:

AGE is a COMMON (free) trait to choose. If you want to add AGE to your cat, get a FREE "common trait upgrade" HERE.

  • Younglings (0-2 years; Child):
    Younglings
are in the earliest stage of development, where they begin to understand the basics of their surroundings. They’re adapting to their jello bodies, learning to interact with others, and building initial resilience. This stage is full of growth as they learn to sustain their form through jello and sugar water. While naturally curious, they tend to be cautious around people but may form bonds with those who treat them gently and provide jello treats. The playful, curious, and clumsy Younglings are full of energy and are just beginning to explore their abilities. They rely on guidance from older Jellocats and learn how to maintain their jello bodies by consuming jello and sugar water. While clumsy, they’re born with features like claws or teeth (if inherited), though these are often underdeveloped. Jelloguts in this stage may not yet produce acidic defences. The older Cats protect Younglings with all their power.

  • ADVENTURERS (3-20 years; Young Adult):
In the Adventurer stage, Jellocats explore Jello Island more independently, discovering new places and experiences. They’re in a learning period, experimenting with abilities and forming bonds with the Jello Island community. This time is essential for shaping their future skills and knowledge of the world around them. Adventurers are known for their exploratory nature and might partner with humans for shared discoveries around Jello Island. In this stage, Jellocats develop a sense of independence and adventure, travelling Jello Island to find their place. Jelloguts begin showing their full traits, including defensive acids. Adventurers may form friendships, learn from experienced Jellocats, and interact with nearby humans, establishing initial bonds if they feel safe.

  • SETTLERS (21-499 years; Adult):
    Settlers
are experienced and more rooted in Jello Island life, often finding a home or role that suits their talents. Their familiarity with island customs and landscapes allows them to contribute in meaningful ways, whether by providing guidance, performing specialized tasks, or simply sharing knowledge with younger Jellocats. Their relationships with humans tend to be strong, although they remain highly protective of their independence. Settlers are established, skilled, and knowledgeable. Jellocats and Jelloguts of this age can act as guides or scouts. They may mentor younger cats, study jello-based magic, and deepen their attachment to Jello Island. Ancients may share knowledge with Jellocats, preparing them for further development.

  • ELDERS (500-999 years; Elder):
Elders possess a deep connection to Jello Island’s heritage and magic, often serving as knowledge keepers. Their extensive experience shapes their understanding of the island’s mysteries, and they often assist in guiding younger Jellocats or preserving traditions. Elders can be found in quiet or secluded parts of the island, where they are highly regarded for their insight. When an Elder forms a bond with a human, it is rare and profoundly meaningful.

  • MYTHS (1,000+ years; Old/Ancient age):
Mythic Jellocats are legendary beings with abilities that connect them to the island’s core magic. Rare and seldom seen, they hold a unique understanding of the island’s secrets, lore, and mystical forces. Their presence is felt in sacred or hidden areas, where they may protect or maintain the island’s natural balance. Mythic Jellocats rarely connect with humans, as they are usually focused on protecting the island’s magic. However, those few who encounter a Mythic Jellocat find the experience transformative, often receiving mystical insights, blessings, or rare assistance.

  • ETERNAL (God)
Holy Jello Spirits transcend physical form, existing as ethereal presences across Jello Island. Representing the essence of life and history, they protect the island and its inhabitants by maintaining the mystical balance. Spirits interact with the living through dreams, visions, or gentle guidance, serving as spiritual mentors or guides. These eternal beings are deeply connected to the island’s origins and often intervene during times of crisis, offering wisdom or magical support to those who call upon them. Some believe these spirits are the original Ancients who transcended physicality, becoming one with the island to forever guide and protect the Jellocat species and all who dwell on Jello Island.

- Behaviour, food and general info -

Jellocats are curious, friendly beings, but each has its own personality. Social creatures by nature, they form strong bonds with humans, showing unwavering loyalty. Their bodies depend on a diet of jello and sugar water to maintain shape, which they search for constantly, driven by a deep instinct to stay whole and energetic. While gentle, Jellocats sometimes fall victim to curious predators, leaving bite marks—fortunately, their bodies can regrow with ample rest and jello.

- Communication -

Jellocats communicate through their minds with other beings. They may open their mind to everyone or to one person only if they want to communicate in privacy. It usually takes some training for the human to answer the cat, but if the bond is strong enough, everything is possible! This ability comes to Jellocats naturally after birth, and they do not need to learn it.

- Language -

Jellocats have their own language, called WOBBLE. They even have their own symbols and a font you can use. Through international contact with humans from all countries, WOBBLE developed to English grammar and pronunciation, but with their own symbols instead of letters.
Get the font here: https://www.deviantart.com/tana-jo/art/Wobble-Jello-Island-Font-free-download-899825902

:star: NOTE:

  • On Jello island, this font is used mainly, but Jellocats can learn to speak and write other languages, too!
  • Weirdly enough, some cats may have accents! This might be, because of their magic within them or out of unknown coincidences.
  • Jellocats DO NOT TALK with their mouths, but each cat still sounds different, because their personality gives them some kind of Aura. Every aura is individual.

- Breeding and genders -

Jellocats may have any gender and breeding does not require certain genders, but 2 Jellocats! If two Jellocats love each other enough, they build a jello egg. The parents collect jello and build it together. Once the egg is built, their love and magic ability creates any taste into the egg. They can only have one egg at once because it is much work. The egg can turn into a Jellocat at any time once it is finished. Parents collect jello and build an egg together. Then they rub their cheeks against each other and through the friction, a magical bolt hits the egg and the cat is ready to hatch. Either the parents have a certain flavour in mind and put it into it with the same thought when rubbing their cheeks, or it is pure coincidence. Rarities may be inherited.

Jellocat Breeding Guide
Jellocats can be agender, male or female. The gender does not matter for breeding! If two Jellocats love each other enough, they build a jello egg. The parents collect jello and build it together. Once the egg is built, their love and magic ability create any taste into the egg. They can only have one egg at once because it is so much work. The egg can turn into a Jellocat at any time once it is finished.

They rub their cheeks against each other and through the friction, a magical bolt hits the egg and the cat is ready to hatch. Either the parents have a certain flavour in mind and put it into the egg while they rub their cheeks, or it is pure coincidence.

People let their Jellocats spend some time together, so they have some experience together. Usually, it happens when they are sent to collect jello for their egg. During such a journey they probably grow close to each other and the rest happens out of pure will.

Other notes
    • You are not allowed to freely making breeds. They are only available through special events or ticket purchase.
    • 2 Jellocats are needed. Yours and another one's Jellocat / or another one you own. Genders do not matter.

- Where do they live? -

All Jellocats live on Jello Island until they get adopted/found by a human. Humans travel to Jello Island without knowing Jellocats live on it. Some humans may know about it because they found a jello egg, but usually, they find one with pure luck. Some even see a Jellocat walking around but Jellocats are shy when they meet a human for the first time and so, most eggs are found. Jello Island is a weird island where jello can be found, and somehow the Jellocats evolved. It is said that there once was a cat so in love with jello it simply turned into one! There are different 'lands'. A Jellocat can live everywhere and some prefer only one area rather than wandering around. Sugar water can be found on Jello Islands only - all other lakes are just made of water.

Faemith Species (Jellocats)

- Faemith? -

Faemith are souls that merged with a dead body by wrapping themselves around it. You see a Faemith when there is a BODY and an EYE. They are up to 50 cm in height or smaller. They come with several rarities such as different eyes or textures and other traits. A Faemith needs a SOUL + BODY to be a Faemith.

- Souls? -

At some regions on Jello Island you can see souls flying through the night. You can only see them at night or in dark places such as caves.

About Jelloworms
Jelloworms hatch out of gelatine eggs and are the favourite pets of Jellocats. Their eyes are always closed while their nubs help them navigate and hear. Like Jellocats, long, colourful tongues are essential parts of the body. All over Jello Island and in the surrounding water, you can find Jelloworms. Some may have wings and live in the sky or fins that let them dive deep under the sea. Even the eggs can be large as humans in size but usually, Jelloworms are not that big. Some are very small and short, while others are long or fat.

Body
EGGS:
You can adopt an egg as well, and you can draw the hatched worm later.

BABY:
A Baby Jelloworm looks like the green Baby in the sheet above. They are quite short. 10 cm - 30 cm in length.

ADULT:
Adult Jelloworms can reach a length from 30 cm - 4 meters. Very old Jelloworms get 4 meters long. The worms are usually 2–3 meters.

Behaviour
Jelloworms are very friendly creatures and loyal until they die. Of course, all of them have individual characters and names, so maybe not all are friendly or social. They lick sugar and do not need anything else to eat. If they bond with a Jellocat, they live as long as their Jellocat. Bonding with their cat creates this magic contract. They will also have some magical abilities like to heal their Jellocat from bite marks.

Jellopets: Lifelong Companions

Jello Island is home to an enchanting array of magical creatures known as Jellopets, each uniquely adapted to different environments across the island. These creatures come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, and serve as loyal companions to Jellocats and humans alike. While Jellocats often adopt these creatures, you don’t need to own a Jellocat to form a bond with a Jellopet.

Jellopets are known for their unwavering loyalty and the deep connections they forge with their owners. If a Jellocat or human has more than one Jellopet, something extraordinary happens: one of these creatures is chosen as a Lifetime Soulmate. This soulmate bond exceeds the ordinary pet-owner relationship, becoming a magical, unbreakable connection that lasts a lifetime.

The variety of Jellopets found on the island reflects the diversity of Jello Island’s landscapes. Some are adaptable to multiple regions, while others thrive only in specific environments, making every Jellopet experience unique.
